With the future Metro West Line set to supercharge accessibility, and a client committed to delivering meaningful change, the opportunity was clear: to create a place that shifts Westmead from a pass-through to a go-to.
Through our Place Visioning® process, we revealed how West Grove could become a magnetic destination. The strategy focused on unlocking the potential of the ground plane and Level 1, activating retail, food & beverage, green space, and community amenities to establish a layered, engaging experience that encourages people to linger, connect and explore.
Perfectly positioned at the convergence of train, metro and light rail links, West Grove is primed to serve as a gateway to Westmead and beyond. The vision sets the stage for a mixed-use precinct that includes a supermarket, dining precincts, hotel, residential apartments, fitness facilities and lush green open spaces, catering to workers, students, locals and visitors alike.
