Set against the backdrop of Wentworth Park and the Blackwattle Bay renewal, Pyrmont Place has transformed a long-dormant site into a vibrant mixed-use precinct rich in amenity and architectural character. Hoyne was proud to support this landmark project with Place Visioning, strategic input and brand development, helping shape a precinct of lasting value.

Joining the project after BVN’s design competition win and ahead of DA lodgement, Hoyne contributed ideas and expertise to enrich the vision for Pyrmont Place. Through research, stakeholder workshops and placemaking insight, we helped elevate the scheme into a bold, market-ready proposition, refining the project’s direction and shaping a compelling identity for this future-focused precinct.

Our input led to key design refinements, including the activation of the commercial rooftop with flexible communal spaces tailored to a post-COVID workforce, and key amenities designed to attract residents and workers, ultimately creating a distinct and memorable destination.

The brand Hoyne created, ‘Pyrmont Reborn’, grew directly from our vision statement – ‘Inner Sydney’s most positive place to live.’ It captures the site’s transformation with a vibrant identity rooted in wellbeing, renewal and local character.

Building on the vision, the brand palette is bright, bold yet refined, reflecting a premium offering and vibrant lifestyle, deeply connected to nature and wellbeing. At the heart of the Pyrmont Place identity is a diamond brandmark featuring two distinct fonts, symbolising the site’s storied past and new beginnings.
